Dental Hygienist

Hai-Uyen is a graduate of Howard University and has been working in dentistry since 2009. She joined the Sunshine Dentists’ team in 2018. As a dental hygienist, Hai-Uyen considers herself a dental advocate – motivating and educating patients to achieve optimal oral health. When Hai-Uyen is working on your smile, it’s her job to prevent and eliminate inflammation that affects your overall health. Hai-Uyen says being a dental hygienist in Burke is rewarding because of the unique patient interaction, proving a valuable health care service, and establishing trusting patient relationships that can span decades. Hai-Uyen also says that working at Sunshine Dentists is a unique opportunity because of the amazing dentists and exceptional team, up-to-date technology, encouragement to attend interesting continuing education courses, and being a part of dental hygiene clubs. Hai-Uyen is family-oriented, loyal, diligent, ethical, and has a positive attitude. Outside of the office, Hai-Uyen enjoys spending quality time with her husband John, family, and friends. She also enjoys traveling, trying new foods, going to the beach, hiking, biking, and shopping.
